Start-up brings mobile and artificial intelligence to the heart of rapid disease diagnosis with european support

SpotLab has created an innovative telemedicine system that facilitates the remote detection of infectious and chronic diseases. The process requires only a microscope, a cell phone and an artificial intelligence assistant. With the help of European funding, SpotLab has obtained certification for two products from the Spanish Agency for Medicines and Health Products (AEMPS) and expanded its team. The company’s digital platform connects the mobile device with medical specialists, who receive a first analysis of the case performed by the artificial intelligence, thus speeding up the diagnosis.
